Ryton® PPS is a very high temperature resistant (about 220°C) thermoplastic which has aromatic rings linked with sulphides.

Ryton® PPS properties:

• Very high long term and short term thermal stability
• High dimensional stability
• Excellent chemical resistance to most solvents
• Inherently non-flammable properties

The Ryton® portfolio includes unfilled grades, 40% glass fibre filled grades and 65% glass fibre and mineral filled grades.

There are also Ryton® Xtel PPS alloys which are flow or impact modified grades.

Ryton® PPS is used in many applications including automotive, electrics & electronics, appliances, HVAC, industrial and lighting.
