Keyflex® thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) show both the flexibility of rubber and strength of engineering plastics.

They also have good thermal stability, chemical resistance and weather resistance as well as good electrical properties.

There are various hardness grades (soft, semi soft, hard) from shore D 40 to shore D 92. In addition there is Keyflex® BT which is a polyester type TPE and Keyflex® TO which is polyolefin type TPE.

Applications

The application areas are wide: automotive, cable, electrical/electronics etc. Specifically, Keyflex® is used in remote control buttons, bumpers, telephone wires, connector covers, films, sheets, conveyor belts, insulation sheets.
