LUSEP® SP is the trade name of high heat resistant syndiotactic polystyrene (SPS) produced by LG Chem. Lusep® is produced by polymerisation with a metallocene catalyst resulting in highly ordered molecular structures. Because of this high regular structure; LUSEP® SPS is a high temperature resistant plastic having a melting point of 270°C.

LUSEP® SPS grades are reinforced SPS engineering polymers to be used in high heat resistant applications. Typical applications for LUSEP® SPS resins include electrical, electronic, appliance and automotive parts.
